More and more students are choosing online monitoring of university courses, in recent years, due to the economic crisis, offered by the largest universities in the world for free. The important thing is that the courses offered are of high quality and often lead to a degree or prepare the candidate for entering the labor market.

1. University Harvard  :

   The Harvard University began in 2012 in collaboration with MIT the edX program offering university courses online for free. In the first semester, the program attracted more than 100,000 students online!

2. MIT :

   The first university offered free online courses through the  Open Courseware  project and cooperation with Harvard.

3. University Stanford  :

   The Stanford in partnership with Coursera and more than 30 universities offering multidisciplinary courses. Currently students can not obtain a degree, but receive a successful completion certificate program. 

4. Mellon University Carnegie :

   The Carnegie Mellon's started similar programs before about 10 years. Right now enables students and professors to watch 17 online courses.

5. Of Pennsylvania University :

   The University of Pennsylvania currently offers 3 online courses through Coursera platform, however, is planning in the near future to add more. 

6. University Columbia :

   The Columbia has created its own educational portal in 2000 ( Fathom ) which has not had much success in 2003 and stopped operating. Today the program is  Columbia Interactive  while the university is working with Coursera platform since early 2013 by offering three free online courses.

7. Johns Hopkins :

   The Johns Hopkins also working with Coursera platform offers educational materials for public health. 

8. Of Michigan University :

   political science courses and economic features including online via Coursera and the University of Michigan. The first online course university in February 2012 attracted 50.0000 students! 

9. University Princeton :

   And Princeton is among the major universities that cooperate with Coursera. Recently launched with three classes: "A History of the World Since 1300," "Networks: Friends, Money, and Bytes," and "Computer Architecture." 

10. Caltech :

    And Caltech partnered with  Coursera  offering a course that attract thousands of students.
